Attorney Patricia A. Brown

The law has been my passion for all of my adult life. As my first job after high school, I worked as a legal secretary while completing the Paralegal Program at Milwaukee Area Technical College.

I earned my Associates Degree in 1987 and then accepted a position as a Litigation Paralegal, with a focus in personal injury, products liability, and medical negligence. My responsibilities allowed me to work face-to-face with clients and witnesses, manage case files of all sizes, and act as second chair to a litigator at jury trials.

Continuing my education, I attended evening classes at Cardinal Stritch University and graduated with academic distinction and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1992. Then, in 1996, I received my Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich. where I was on the Dean's List and received several honors, including the American Jurisprudence Award in Research and Writing, Certificate of Merit Award in Advocacy, Certificate of Merit Award in Lawyering Before Trial, and a nomination for the Distinguished Student Award.

I returned to my roots in Southeast Wisconsin and started my own practice immediately after passing the Wisconsin bar exam in 1997. I am admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin, as well as the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

My driving force is an uncompromising commitment to the clients I serve.

When I am not immersed in my legal practice, I manage Northstar Printing & Graphics, a printing business my brother Joe and I started in 2004.
